I’m not sure if many left handers are aware that we have our own day.
August 13 is International Left Handers Day!
We deserve a day to be honored and celebrated because it’s not easy being living left-handed in a right-handed world. (Think scissors, spiral notebooks, cake cutters, baseball gloves, bumping elbows with righties at the dinner table, etc.)
Take a left-handed friend to lunch or out for coffee. If you’re right-handed, try doing everything with your left hand. Left-handers post photos using #lefthandersday to prove your left-handed awesomeness.
For me, being left-handed is my superpower!
