Jamaica Strong — Rebuilding After Hurricane Melissa

The island of Jamaica is showing its resilience again—clean-up and rebuilding are already underway after Hurricane Melissa left flooding and power outages across the north coast.

In Kingston, Montego Bay, and St. Ann’s Bay, crews are restoring electricity and clearing debris. Families displaced by the storm are receiving help from churches and community groups, both on the island and abroad.

Here in Tampa Bay, local Caribbean associations are organizing supply drives and donation drop-offs to send relief directly to Jamaica.

Keep the island in your prayers as recovery continues. #JamaicaStrong .
