Edwards, who was named the first African American woman to join Team USA’s women’s hockey team, expressed her honor and desire to be a role model for others in a recent interview. Team USA remains undefeated in the tournament, with Edwards contributing to scoring plays and accumulating four total points. They will face Italy next in the quarterfinals on Friday at the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.
