Hosted by Queen B and Elder Carl Lavendar, the event will feature a special guest appearance by nationally recognized advocate Tamika D. Mallory!
And this isn’t just about voting. It’s about COMMUNITY!
There will be FREE food, line dancing, entertainment, a kid’s zone, community resources, FREE rides to the polls, and prizes for churches and organizations with the largest attendance!
One of the day’s special moments will be a ceremonial march at 3 PM honoring Nolan Wells, bringing the community together in a celebration of unity, remembrance, and civic engagement.
The event is presented by the Power of the Vote Collective, Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg, Florida Suncoast Urban League, Allegany Franciscan Ministries, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council, alongside community partners.
Election Day Is Tuesday, November 3rd!
Whether you’re voting early or heading to the polls on Election Day, the message is simple: YOUR VOICE MATTERS!
Voting is one of the most important ways we can participate in decisions that affect our neighborhoods, schools, families, and communities.
It doesn’t matter which candidate or political party you support. What matters is taking the time to learn about the issues, understand your choices, and make your voice heard.
Before heading out, make sure you’re prepared:
- Confirm your voter registration status.
- Check your polling location and voting hours.
- Review your sample ballot and research the candidates and issues.
- Bring an acceptable form of identification.
- Make a plan to vote!
