Stars Shine in Paris as Pharrell Premieres New Track at LV Show

Paris Fashion Week lit up as Pharrell debuted “Get Right,” a brand-new track he produced for Doechii and Tyler, The Creator. The world got its first listen this past Tuesday during Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring/Summer 226 runway show—an event that drew high-profile guests like Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Pusha T.

This marks Doechii and Tyler’s second pairing, following the acclaimed Chromakopia collaboration “Balloon”, which they performed together at Camp Flog Gnaw last November and again during Tyler’s LA Chromakopia tour stop.

Reflecting on their artistic camaraderie in Los Angeles, Tyler praised Doechii:

“I’m so happy she exists. We have to keep supporting everything she does… Keep supporting art. Keep supporting art.”

Tyler previously opened up about discovering Doechii during a memorable interview with Nardwuar:

“I came across Doechii on something YouTube recommended—it was the ‘Catfish’ record or ‘Nissan Altima.’ I thought, ‘What is this? Damn, this girl’s pretty as hell.’ And as I listened, I was blown away… I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ Then I DMed her, ‘I’m gonna need you in a few months!’”

He continued:

“And then we linked… she’s incredible. I’m so happy that she [won a Grammy] and is getting the recognition she deserves. We have to keep supporting artists who care about things.”
