Rapper Busta Rhymes was hit with three assault charges Tuesday after he allegedly lashed out at his assistant for being on his phone during work, law enforcement sources tell The Post. Cops said Rhymes punched the 50-year-old in the face several times, leaving him with swelling in his left eye. Rhymes, turned himself in after the Jan. 10 incident, which took place inside a luxe condominium complex — J Condominium — in Dumbo, according to sources. Reached by phone by The Post Thursday, the hip-hop star’s alleged victim, Dashiel Gables, said his lawyer told him not to talk to the press. Gables then added: “Maybe later. Maybe in the future. I can’t mess up my case, bro. It’s just not going to be worth it. An article in the paper as opposed to a six or seven-million-dollar settlement? I’m not risking it, sorry.” His next court appearance stemming from the alleged assault will be Feb. 2.
