Thousands of Hillsborough County Public Schools seniors will participate in six large-scale hiring events this month as the final step in their Future Career Academy journey. The events, organized by Workforce Development Partners, aim to help students transition from the classroom to the workforce, job training programs, and continued education. Students have completed career readiness lessons throughout the year, including resume building and mock interviews, to prepare for the hiring events. More than 50 local employers from various industries will be present to offer on-the-spot interviews, internships, and entry-level positions, providing students with real-world opportunities to showcase their skills and secure employment. The events are not only a culmination of the students’ hard work but also a valuable opportunity for the wider community to connect with young talent.
