Following a brawl that took place after a youth football game, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office is opening an investigation. The fight broke out after Saturday’s game between HOA 30 Kartel and the Plant City Colts Certified Strikers.
By the time deputies arrived on the scene, everyone involved had left.
Sheriff Grady Judd said his investigators are working to identify those involved and pursue charges. He also said that his is going to send undercover detectives to these youth football games and if someone is caught betting, they are going to be charged.
