Pinellas reopens state-funded home repair program

Pinellas County in Florida has reopened its state-funded home repair program to provide financial assistance of up to $75,000 for critical needs such as roof, window, and AC replacements. The program offers fully forgivable loans for low-income homeowners who plan to stay in Pinellas County. To qualify, homeowners must meet certain criteria and have a home assessed value not exceeding $375,000. The county also offers other programs to assist locals with buying or repairing homes. Pinellas County also has four other programs to assist locals with buying or repairing home.
