For the 5th time in team history, the Rays are the champs of the American League East. They needed one win against the Yankees and got it last night with a 6-1 victory.

The Rays also have the best record in the American League, so they will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Could this be the year that the Rays win it all?
