1 In 4 Adults Believe They Have ADHD

Teachers give student with ADHD Most Likely to Not Pay Attention award

Think you might have a problem with staying focused?  You’re not alone.

A new study from Ohio State University found that 1 out of 4 adult Americans believe they have undiagnosed ADHD.

That’s well above the actual rate of confirmed ADHD cases, which is about 4% of adults ages 18-44.

Experts warn against self-diagnosing any mental health condition, and believe social media apps like TikTok sometimes encourage people to do so.
