What an incredible evening at 101.5 The Vibe!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us Tuesday night for “Securing the Bag,” our community forum presented in partnership with UNCF, right here at the 101.5 The Vibe studios!

And when we say the information was valuable, WE MEAN IT!

A very special thank you to Dr. Rebecca Parrott, PhD, who absolutely delivered! From scholarships and financial aid to FAFSA, Pell Grants, and navigating the road to college, the information was priceless.

In fact, just about every adult in the room had the same reaction: “WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS TRYING TO GO TO COLLEGE?!” LOL!

But the real winners were the students! They walked away motivated, encouraged, and better equipped to pursue their educational dreams. Some even left with gifts in hand!

And let’s talk about the FOOD! A BIG shout-out to Chef JC and The Bougie Palette for keeping everybody fed! Listen, the food wasn’t just good… IT WAS BANGING! STRAIGHT FIRE! Y’all did your thing!

A special shout-out to DJ Ekin, who did an outstanding job hosting the evening, our partners at UNCF, and the entire 101.5 The Vibe crew for helping make this event such a success!

And thank you to everyone who came ready to listen, learn, ask questions, and invest in our young people’s futures.

Now, to those who missed it… SHAME ON YOU! LOL! And to those who registered but didn’t show up, you REALLY missed out on something special! But don’t worry, we’re already looking forward to our next community forum, so stay connected!
