Feeling her “Freedom,” Kamala Harris receives an official nod from Beyoncé. The energetic anthem from Beyoncé's 2016 “Lemonade” album welcomed the presumed Democratic presidential candidate to her campaign headquarters on Monday night (July 22).

CNN subsequently revealed that Harris had obtained the singer’s express consent to use the song on the campaign trail just a few hours earlier.

According to an anonymous source close to Harris, Beyoncé's camp permitted Harris’ team to perform “Freedom” not just on Monday night but “during her presidential campaign,” “just hours before she walked out to the song,” according to a CNN story.
