Coco Gauff secured her fifth consecutive trip to the French Open quarterfinals with a straight-set victory, but faced criticism for forgetting her rackets in an earlier match. The No. 2-seeded Gauff engaged in banter with Frances Tiafoe, who teased her for the equipment blunder. Tiafoe had made a similar mistake in March, and Gauff acknowledged the error, vowing to learn from it. Despite being called “Mrs. Mature” by Tiafoe, Gauff emphasized her commitment to setting a good example and learning from her mistakes.
