Kym Whitley Joins ‘Martin’ BET+ Spinoff ‘Varnell Hill,’ Martin Lawrence Expected To Appear

Comedian and actress Kym Whitley has joined the cast of the Martin spinoff Varnell Hill on BET+. The series follows Tommy Davidson’s character Varnell Hill as he navigates the challenges of hosting his own talk show. Whitley will play Kim Jones, Varnell’s assistant and emotional support. Martin Lawrence is set to make appearances in the series, which is co-created and executive produced by Lawrence and Bentley Evans.
