Motown has launched the New Legends internship program to bring HBCU students from four historically Black colleges and universities into the music industry through mentorship and hands-on training. The 10-week paid program in Los Angeles will involve students from Howard University, Morgan State University, North Carolina A&T State University, and Spelman College working on various initiatives in marketing, creative services, A&R, and digital. Motown, known for its iconic artists, aims to cultivate the next generation of music industry executives, creatives, marketers, and innovators through this initiative. Interested HBCU students should stay tuned for application announcements in March.
