Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch remake and Tom Cruise’s swan song in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, produced by Paramount and Skydance, powered the most successful Memorial Day weekend on record, with moviegoing surging across all demographics.

Lilo & Stitch shattered expectations, delivering a staggering $92.7 million over the four-day domestic frame and pulling in $361.3 million globally. Meanwhile, The Final Reckoning notched the best domestic opening in the Mission: Impossible franchise with $79 million, pushing its global haul to nearly $200 million—up from an earlier Sunday estimate of $77.5 million. For the three-day weekend, Lilo & Stitch earned $145.5 million, while Final Reckoning brought in $64 million. On Memorial Day itself, Lilo brought in an impressive $37 million, just shy of a holiday record.
