The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards nominations have been announced, with Lady Gaga leading with 12 nods, followed by Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, and Sabrina Carpenter. Gaga has previously earned the most nominations in 2010 and 2020 and has won 18 VMAs. Lamar’s nominations are largely for his hit “Not Like Us,” while Carpenter is recognized for her single “Manchild.” The event’s top categories include Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year, with fan voting open until September 5.
