One thing I love about African American families, is that we have no problem showing off pictures of our family members. From special occasions, random precious moments and even religious figures like Martin Luther King Jr., Barack Obama, and Jesus Christ you are guaranteed to find a photo of huge significance on their wall.
Meet Mary Story and she’s just like the rest of us who love to put pictures of her family on display, but she recently added a photo of a new family member by the name of Michael B. Jordan who she claimed as her grandson.
She just hung the photo up on her wall and her grandchildren were surprised about their honorary cousin that they shared the moment online and within two days it went viral.
To make the moment extra special Michael B. Jordan’s team reached out and sent Mary some jewelry and Michael himself gave her a special phone call thanking her for adding him to her family and Mary plans on inviting him to the next family reunion.
