Pharrell Williams plans for the 2025 Met Gala to be dedicated to celebrating Black culture. As co-chair of the event, Williams aims to highlight the impact, beauty, and progress of Black individuals across various fields. The theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” draws inspiration from the book “Slaves to Fashion” by Monica L. Miller. Williams envisions the night as a celebration of Black excellence in areas such as art, academia, and athletics, with his wife likely to accompany him to the event.
