Former Democratic presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton spoke out against the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown and defense of federal agents’ actions in Minneapolis. The Obamas criticized the Department of Homeland Security for its tactics and called for accountability over the shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson accused Obama of sowing division, while Clinton expressed shock at the scenes in Minneapolis and called for action to uphold American democracy. The former presidents urged Americans to stand up and speak out against the current administration’s handling of the situation.
