Alicia Keys Says DEI “Is A Gift” As She Accepts Dr. Dre Global Impact Grammy Award

Alicia Keys delivered a passionate speech about diversity and inclusion at the Grammy Awards, emphasizing the importance of embracing different voices in the music industry. She highlighted the value of diversity and urged the audience to support DEI initiatives. Keys emphasized the power of music to unite people and encouraged compassion and empathy. Lady Gaga also used her platform to advocate for the visibility and support of transgender individuals.

Grammy Awards: Kendrick Lamar takes Record of the Year

Kendrick Lamar emerged as the top winner at the 2025 Grammy Awards, taking home five trophies for his hit track “Not Like Us.” The rapper’s wins included Best Music Video, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and both Record and Song of the Year. With these new accolades, Lamar now has a total of 22 Grammy wins, tying with U2 and Vince Gill for the fifteenth-most awards in Grammy history. Beyoncé also added to her Grammy count, winning three more trophies, including Album of the Year, bringing her total to 35.

Grammys 2025: Beyoncé finally wins Album Of The Year

Beyonce made history by winning Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards for her album Cowboy Carter, becoming the most-awarded artist in Grammy history with 35 trophies. This win marked her first time receiving the main Album of the Year award after being nominated four times previously. Beyonce expressed gratitude and honor for the recognition, sharing the stage with her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, to accept the award. In addition to Album of the Year, Beyonce also won Best Country Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the ceremony.
