According to a SmartAsset study Tampa had a big jump in income growth from 2023 to 2024. The actually had the largest growth of the 50 largest cities surveyed in the US with a 15.5% increase in median household income.
In 2023, the median household income in Tampa was around $72,851. In 2024, that increased to $84,114, a few hundred dollars higher than the national average of $83,730.
