FL Attorney General James Uthmeier is not happy with the Tampa PD not disclosing immigration backgrounds for witnesses and victims and he’s saying that Tampa Mayor Jane Castor is responsible. He accuses her of forcing sanctuary policies on the Tampa Police Department, which violates Florida law.
He said the law is clear and that sanctuary policies are prohibited in Florida, and he wants Mayor Castor to reverse the policies by March 31 or risk penalties that could include removing her from office.
