Former University of Tampa student Brianna Moore was back in court in Hillsborough County last Thursday. The 19 year old was accused of giving birth to a baby on campus last spring and leaving it to die in a garbage can. She has been in jail since October 2024. Her new trial date has been set for this July after her attorney waived her right to a speedy trial.
