As thousands of basketball fans are expected to visit Tampa for the NCAA tournament, the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART) announced it is extending the TECO Line Streetcar service hours.
Here are the hours for the fare-free streetcar:
Thursday, March 19: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Friday, March 20: 7 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Saturday, March 21: 8:30 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Sunday, March 22: 8:30 a.m. – MIDNIGHT* Extended service
The streetcar covers 2.7 miles and connects downtown Tampa, the Channel District and Ybor City. Streetcars operate every 15 minutes.
