Frankie Beverly, the famed singer and frontman of Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, has achieved three posthumous top 10 entries on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart this week. Essentials from Maze, featuring Frankie Beverly’s well-known catalog, are making a splash on the charts following Beverly’s death on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the age of 77. The family announced his passing on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

He lived his life with pure soul as one would say, and for us, no one did it better. He lived for his music, family and friends. Love one another as he would want that for us all.”
