How much money would it take for you to quit your job, drop everything, and travel the world? 2,000 Americans were polled and the average answer was $288,000.
18% said they’d take off for less than $50,000,
32% said they’d need at least half-a-million.
17% said no amount of money could get them to drop everything and leave.
The poll also asked what you’d do if you suddenly had a MILLION-DOLLAR travel budget you had to spend. Here are the top five answers . . .
1. Take your family and friends on a dream vacation.
2. Go on a REALLY long road trip.
3. Visit as many famous landmarks as you could.
4. Visit the Seven Wonders of the World, or other historical sites.
5. Start working on a “travel bucket list.”
6. Frequent weekend getaways to new destinations (18%)
7. Slow traveling—spending months in each location (18%)
8. Luxury accommodations (17%)
9. Extended stay in a dream destination (15%)
