The National Hockey League (NHL) has set the date for the 2025 Stanley Pup, its second annual friendly competition featuring adorable rescue dogs. For the 2025 edition, all 32 NHL teams will be represented by a four-legged friend, many of whom will be available for adoption from a shelter or rescue in their respective city. The 2025 Stanley Pup will premiere in the U.S. on June 6 at 7 p.m. ET on TruTV, and NHL Network will re-air it on June 8 at 7 p.m. ET. The show will feature special appearances by celebrity dog lovers including Anthony Anderson, Cedric the Entertainer, George Lopez, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Bublé, Nikki Glaser and Paula Abdul. The national nonprofit organization Petco Love will once again provide the dogs in the competition through their shelter partners across the country to spotlight the joy of pet adoption.
