The latest TikTok hack is supposed to help your vacuum pick up more dirt by weighing it down. But the item people are using to add weight is the most impractical thing you could think of.
The hack is: Weigh the front of your vacuum down by putting a WATERMELON on top of it.
A video about it is racking up millions of views. The woman who posted it does it with a carpet cleaner, but it works with vacuums too. Just toss a full, uncut watermelon on there and vacuum like normal. The site “Tom’s Guide” tested it out and said it DOES seem to help your vacuum pick up more dirt. But they had to go really slow or the melon would just roll off immediately. They said using a watermelon upped the “fun” factor.
