After being celebrated for being named the 1st African American Chief Deputy at the HCSO back in April, Anthony Collins has resigned. In July, his wife sent an email to the sheriff’s office alleging that Collins had cheated on coursework for the FBI National Academy.
She accused Collins of paying someone to help him complete coursework for training classes at the FBI National Academy. She also accused him of physical domestic violence against her daughter and an affair with a subordinate. More details here.
