During a recent virtual news conference, St. Pete Mayor Ken Welch expressed concerns over proposed DEI rollbacks. It all centers around two proposed bills that the mayor believes Republican lawmakers are using to silence the voices of city voters. They are House Bill 1001 and Senate Bill 1134.
