Paramount Pictures is re-releasing Top Gun in cinemas to mark the film’s 40th anniversary. The film will land in cinemas on May 13 and will be available for one week alongside Top Gun: Maverick, which is also heading back to cinemas. Tom Cruise announced the re-release with a short post on his social account yesterday. “If you feel the need…Two films. One big screen. Back in theaters, May 13th, for one week only,” Cruise posted alongside a trailer post. Paramount confirmed that a third Top Gun movie is currently in development.
