Gov Ron DeSantis’ proposed property tax cuts are not sitting so well with Bay Area leaders. If his cuts get through, local governments could stand to lose a lot of revenue. Hillsborough County could lose about $725 million and Tampa alone may see a $55 million budget hit affecting public safety and services.
